My girlfriend Emmah is sick so I had to babysit our child the entire day. It was only after I had put her to sleep (or to bed is maybe a more fitting description) I could get on the bike and start paddling to Perrys Gym for some evening violence.
When I got there it was just me and two other who were attending the class. So we were left alone to train as we saw fit. As the natural leader I am *cough-bullshit-cough* I sorted the warm up which consisted of 10 minutes worth of skipping ropes and then 5 minutes of high intensity shadow boxing.
I had a friend there who attended the earlier class who was willing to act as cameraman. Not every day you get so lucky, Ill tell you. So we filmed some of the warmup.
I've already posted the movies, so just scroll down and you'll see them.
After the warmup we did some stretching and then got on to the real training.
We worked in one pair using thai mitts and the third person doing some PT, 2 2-minute rounds and then we switched "stations". That way we got to train with everyone and all got the PT.
It was a very nice session with lot's of teknique training with both long and short series.
After our session we stretched, I ate my tunafish, hit the showers and then took the bike home.
An now I'm home. Soon finished blogging and ready to jump in the sack.
Tomorrow there's the morning training as usual.
Up out of bed early, run the treadmill, kick the bag, lift the weights and eat the tuna. Same story every day.
I hope to see you then, dear reader.
Now heres the pictures from the evening:
Pic 1-3: Stretching after warmup.
Pic 4-5: Eating tuna after training to get buff . Mmmm, delicious!
Pic 6: My dear photographer - Mattias. Here in a killer Muay Thai stance. He might look thin, but kicking him is like kicking straight on a ribbed bar of construction iron.
